And he [Jesus] answered them, "O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me." (Mark 9:19, ESV)

You know the feeling. You're near your breaking point. If you have to answer that question one more time, you'll scream. If you have to keep explaining why after there's just nothing left to be said, you're going to quit.

Why is it so hard to get through to some people? How can see an attractive woman continue to reject compliments that come her way? Why don't kids understand that their parents make rules to protect them not to hurt them?

Sometimes people just don't get it. Jesus was asking in a sense, "What's the deal here? Don't you know who I am by now? What's it gonna take before you get it,before you have faith?" Good question. It seems like these people forgot about everything Jesus had just done, the miracles, the healing, the amazing power.

So, what does Jesus want? Faith. Not forgetfulness. He wants us to remember all that He's said and done so we'll believe what He'll do in the future.

Never forget who Jesus is. Give yourself a refresher course by going to the Bible for stories about real people who had the same struggles with faith that many have today.

it is hard for some people to have faith, i dont know how to help people when they ask for help. i just tell them to keep looking to the better things and see the good and try to look past the bad, but i dont know how to explain the faith i have to people so they can see it like i do. please pray for my husband that his faith builds. he is going through a hard time right now. thank you
