The KUTLESS Concert...............
Well, Well, Well, what to say about the Kutless concert...oh I know - I can't describe it all!!! There are no words to describe how awesome and amazing Kutless did!
The first two opening bands, Kaliyl and Chasen were fairly decent, if I say so myself. They did not stink to me. Which was good, cause they could have been horrible, but luckily they were not. Kaliyl was pretty much like Decyfer Down...they were good.
I got Chasen's Lead singer/guitarist's pick after they played! Oh yeah...and on Chasen's last song we were singing "Oooooo" and he hopped off the stage, in between me and Mary and walked all the way to the back and held out the mic.! That was cool! And I poked his shoe 3 times! Yes, that was the highlight of the evening...JK! And I strummed his guitar with my finger! They were really good too.
Then there was Kutless - Oh Kutless! The opening intro and song was Sleeping City and To Know That You're Alive. You can see their set list in my pic.s....we rocked OUT!!!! We got front row, or front stand, if you will, but I was an inch away from Jon Micah's shin! But you know, I backed up....then it came to their worship stuff. Let me tell you, through their lyrics you can tell that they are devoted Christians, but when Jon M. starts speaking, someone just might get saved! It was incredible! When you go to their concerts you'll find out that they are outspoken about what they believe. And no one will change their minds...that's what makes them so cool! Kutless rox OUT!!!! It was so awesome! They brought out one of their kids on stage to rock out with them! It was so cute! And during that song right before the anticipated scream, the whole band FROZE. Even the kid. For like a minute and a half....it felt like 5 minutes! You thought they would go back into it after 8 beats but we cheered, and cheered, then we paused, and started cheering again and eventually they finished the song! It was so hilarious! And Ryan was gonna kill me if I didn't get their set list so after the concert was done I ripped it off and that's what Ryan got signed...Todd got one signed too, and he got a drumstick! I got Jon Micah's rag/towel thing!!! Oh HEC YES! So amazingly awesome!!!!
Afterwards, we hung out at their merch table and waited for them.....they came out and we got them to sign our stuff...and Jon M. wasn't there yet so while we waited on him we hung out with the rest of the band and just talked....that was really cool...we got pic.s and all that good stuff! It was THE BEST concert that I have ever been to at The Hill!!!! Kutless are people that I will definitely open for one day....One day.....good memories...>D
