"My Chance" Awarded Song of the Year

"My Chance", received the "Song of the Year" award at this year's Momentum Award ceremonies in Nashville on March 28. (Click "Video" menu button to view.) This is a second win in this category for Jaime, who received Song of the Year for "Reckless Love" in 2007, along with 2007 Female Vocalist of the Year.
When asked what was next in her plans for the song, Jaime said, "I'm so grateful for the award. So many people keep telling me the song is about to explode. This will certainly help it on its way to being a catalyst for healing in thousands of broken lives. Music is a powerful force, and so often reaches where words can't."
She went on to say, "We are trying very hard to get it heard by the people who need it most. Since over 70% of lives lost by choice in the United States claim to be Christians, the roll of Christian radio, churches and other Christian organizations is vital. Most pastors and church administrators are unaware of that statistic*. Education is key in filling the huge gap in helping Christian families."
The Momentum Awards, now in it’s 4th year, are the premier award recognition program for Christian independent artists. The annual awards are sponsored by Nashville-based Indieheaven.com/The Christian Independent Alliance, the leading organization for Christian independent musicians.
Indieheaven president, Keith Mohr states, “As the music industry continues to change and more and more artists are either staying independent or going back to their independent roots, it is important to recognize the pursuit of excellence in this growing industry."
