Gran Torino is a Good Choice
Clint Eastwood’s latest film “GranTorino” captured my attention. I had seen several trailers before its release. My family and I all looked at each other when we saw them and we nodded in agreement that that was one movie that we would like to see.
Initially, this show was scheduled only in select theaters. Our first attempt to view the movie was denied, since it was sold out. That made us more determined than ever to give it a good look.
It’s possible that I liked the movie just because I’m an Eastwood fan. He has given movie-goers many outstanding films. Some Westerns, some law enforcement but most with a tough character. Men like that manly guy.
Then, again this film is about Asians. I have a natural affinity to that theme. Life makes every ethnic group find a reason to band together.
