DARKNESS TO LIGHT
Words cannot express the joy and happiness when I walked from darkness to light. I was born to Christian parents in 1967. I was a rebellious child till 18. I studied in a school where my dad was working. He was retired as the Head Master. I was always a pain in his neck. I was not studious. English seemed Greek and Latin to me. I was at the cross-roads of life, not knowing which way to turn.The failure in 10th and 12 grade Public Examination pushed to ending my life at all. I resorted to suicide. Someone pointed me to Jesus. I turned to Him. He saved from the jaws of death. I had never been the same again. My life took a new turn. He is the lifter of my head. I became a lecturer in English.
God is the source of wisdom as the Bible declares, " In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" Col. 2:3. I became exceedingly good in English to win many prizes and awards. Behind every successful man stands a man named Jesus.
Training in Mission (TIM) is a youth leadership development programme run by Council for World Mission ( CWM). Young Christians from CWM Churches around the world come together to discover their own role in mission of Christ's Church through practical work and study. I am one among the twelve who underwent this training in UK and Jamaica for the year 1991-1992. I was much privileged to under go this training which shaped me in youth and children ministry. I chose to live with the poor and the destitute during the placement in Jamaica. The study in UK and Jamaica was a real challenge to me.
On returning home, God led me step by step into village ministry. Working as a lecturer in English I have joined a prayer circle and go from village to village and proclaim the love of Jesus Christ. I carry the word of comfort to many churches on Sundays. We have website ministry, outreach ministries, crusades, retreats through which many a tears are wiped. To God be the glory.

" The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water , whose waters do not fail."
