Hello Friends,
It's been awhile since I've sent out a weekend message but there is something stirring in me today so it must be time to beging again. I have been receiving some rather desperate prayer requests lately and I know of quite a few people who are going through rough times now. Finances, relationships, health issues, depression are the major issues I am hearing about. I want to hopefully bring you an encouraging word today.

In Psalm 34 David writes: (4) I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (7) The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (reveres and worship) Him, and delivers them. (8) Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (9) Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. (17-19) The righteous cry out and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite (humble) spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all."

He is your Salvation, Deliverer, Redeemer, Healer, Provider, Comfortor, Helper, Defender, Shield, Counselor, Strength, Intercessor, Teacher,
Righteousness...I encourage you to add to the list.

I don't speak as someone who has "arrived" either. But as a friend who is in the trenches with you facing the struggles of this life everyday. But we are overcomers in Him! Greater is He Who is in me then he who is in the world! I can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens me! I have His life in me and with Him ALL things are possible? Feeling better yet? Let Him strengthen you and begin to speak out all the things He has done for you already. Then let that build your faith for what He can and will do in your life now.

Going back to Psalm 34, please join me in thie declaration, (1-3), "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes it's boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me. And let us exalt His name together."

If this has ministered to you, or you would like us to stand in prayer or rejoice with you, please respond and let us here at Journey Ministries know. We love you and want to see God's best in your life.

In His praise,
Yvonne
