That day will never be the same. Early in the morning, my wife called me to have me take her to the hospital. Her contractions were coming in regularly, every 5 minutes or so at first, then every 3 minutes. At first, when we got there, we thought they were going to send her home as she wasn't as dilated as we expected, but that changed a short time later. She was admitted and we called all of our friends. We were surrounded with people who love us, and we began a very scary time.

Dale Clay, along with Marla Oppenheimer and Scott Brown, known collectively as The DaMar Project, will be appearing at Cline Stansberry Stadium in West Union, WV, on June 20, 2007, with headliners, Cadence.

We are now having two bands playing at our memorial fundraiser this year. Cadence will be headlining, and the opening guest will be Dale Clay, who will play a largely accoustic set.

We are looking forward to bringing the Lord forward in our remembrance of my little brother. As we approach Memorial Day, let us never forget that thousands have died for our freedom, and One has died for our soul.

Sunday was a great day. Those of you who have been following my blog, you know how we've been challenged. We have been told by doctors that our new baby may not live, we've heard folks speak the same thing in agreement with the doctors, etc...

However, we have a great God. We have a GOOD God.

Aunalie got a call from the doctor today. We were told that they would only call with good news.

That's the thing about doctors. They often lie.

They called to say that the MRI that Aunalie had Monday confirmed what they were thinking. Except this time, instead of saying that the baby didn't have any kidneys, this time they said "not fully developed."

I say phooey on doctors.
