About Me

I am 19 and I live in the small town of Grifton, NC. I lived in Pinetown, NC until this past year. I was homeschooled all of my life until I reached college. I now attend Lenoir Community College were I study music. I hope to go into the music ministry after I graduate.

Piano playing is my favorite pastime. I have played the piano since I was nine and have been playing for various churches since the age of twelve.

I have two sisters who are also homeschooled. I applaud my parents for all their hard work in teaching us. I also have two dogs, Dixie and Lucy, whom I love as if they were family.

A Beautiful Snow

SNOW!!! It has been snowing here all day!! I havent seen this much snow in all of my life. Living in Eastern North Carolina doesnt allow us to see a good snow fall but once every two or three years.

I was looking outside my bedroom window today just admiring the snow fall when i noticed a sense of beauty in God's creation. I havent ever seen such a beauty in all of my life. The sun shining down, the flurries falling, and the snow covered trees and fields were a lovely sight to behold.

New Youth Program

Our church has started a new youth ministry called Metemorphosis. Please be much in prayer for this new outreach program. It is our prayer that we can use this contemporary-style worship program to not only bring the kids into the church, but the parents as well.

Being A Disciple for Christ

We as Christians should want to be a disciple for Christ. Our plan of application for this should be going out and doing what it takes for us to bring others to Jesus Christ. To make sure that we are becoming a disciple for Christ we need to apply these four questions to our daily discipleship.

My Favorite Hymn

Amazing Grace is perhaps one of my most favorite hymns. It tells a story that applies to many of our lives today. Back in 1779, John Newton wrote this memorable hymn. It tells of his life, how once he was a sinner lost in this world and then one day by God's amazing grace he was saved.
