It's been awhile since we've sent out a newsletter, and so much to catch up on. We were blessed and humbled at the KCCM Awards Ceremony held last April and so thankful to be selected as the "Best Contemporary Group of the Year"...

Living Water Praise Band Takes Award for Best Contemporary Group
(Olathe, KS. April 30, 2009)
The 9th annual KCCM (King Cat Music) Awards were held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Bell Cultural Arts Center at Mid-America Nazarene University. KCCM Awards recognizes the devotion and musical talent of Christian artists during the concert and awards ceremony. The Living Water Praise Band was named as the 2009 Best Contemporary Group of the Year.
The group was also honored by receiving four additional nominations in the categories of Best Live Performance, Best Group of the Year, Angie Power for Best Female Vocalist, and Louie Garcia was nominated for the Best Artist of the Year. “We are honored to be recognized for our music among our peers,” said Louie Garcia, drummer and founder of the group, “and blessed to be able to spread the Gospel Message through songs of praise.”

Living Water Praise Band updates

I would like to share with you if I may....I use a concept called....
"Acrostics" which is the process of taking all of the letters in each word and let God give each of us his blessings and messages....
There is power in the gospel, through your music...

Precious Oh! Word/Worship Eternal Redemption
By hearing the words of the gospel of Jesus Christ we draw nigh to him
his words set us free from sin, and allows us to come unto him and worship his deity, his majesty, his fullness, his wonderous glories...the bible tells me that he is the Alpha and the Omega.... I love to sing a song that was sung by me and thousands of other children of God Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so...

God Our Savior Precious Eternal Life
Through the hearing of God's word, I learn that he sent his only begotten Son....John 3:16 to save a sinner like me, so that I could be with Jesus in Eternal Life.... John 14:6, for there is no other way, but through Jesus Christ....as I go to the Lord in prayer, I know that I will always need him, every hour every day as I travel on my pathway to be with Him.... He Is Master and I am his Servant....I have also learned that the bible told me that He came unto us a ''Babe" wrapped in clothing" a King who came among us to "Service as a Servant" instead of coming unto us to setup his Kingdom....which is yet to come....and it will, because Jesus told us that he will return us to us again.....that to me is very glorious news.... The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus...

I sing because I feel him in my soul and in my heart....I love to sing the song....Victory in Jesus....I want to sing to him and that is one of the ways that I praise my Lord and Savior
