And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have His Son does not have life. I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life."
-I John 5:11-13, NLT

CHADWICK'S POETRY CORNER
God’s Beauty; Version One: Setting Sun
By C’wick (Sept. ’05)
Genesis 1: 16-18
Distant, brilliant candles glowing;
Echoing rays no longer showing;
A lovely melody of hues and reflection,
Demanding the respect of human affection.
Poems and song long written of old,
Sharing the awe of the divine unfold . . .
The glorious setting of Father’s sun-
Cherish the moment, for the moment is done.
Enlightened trinity;
A moment of infinity . . .
The greater of light
Folding over from sight.
God’s grace captured in a moment of time;
His artistic flow of colors in rhyme;
Yahweh’s love from a palette of sky . . .
That precious moment in the blink of an eye.
Capture the vivid illustrious light,
The splashes of color just before night;
And as the magic slowly fades from sight . . .
Rest, and let the dreams take flight.
Capture these moments, for these moments are few.
Day turned to night . . .
Tonight is soon through.
What Mountain?
By C’wick 6-19-06
In Jesus’ name,
Let me walk in the depths of Life’s waters;
Let me soar with wings unbroken;
Let me surf the waves. . .
Let me explore the caves. . .
Let not a breath be unspoken.
In Jesus’ name,
Let the sorrows and obstacles subside me;
Let the pillars of heaven withstand!
Let me lay to rest
All that I think best,
And release them into God’s hand.
Frozen Moment Of Time
by C’wick
Being with you
Is like a gentle Spring day:
Always pleasant;
Cool and comforting.
Your fingers brush my face
Like a soft, tender breeze;
Your eyes calm my beating heart. . .
Tending to the fears
That stir within.
The longing is a welcomed sprite;
You calm its tendencies
As I pull you into my arms
And you willingly join me
In an innocent embrace.
Only God’s merciful breath
Could have breathed such life
Into a moment as perfect
As this one.
I inhale this exquisite moment,
Savoring the grace and love
That was put into its creation.
Aaaaaaaaah.
Thank you, Yahweh.
