Today will only come once, so live it! Don't watch it go by, because it's never going to come again! Bearing that motto in mind, I decided to take up Irish Dancing and it's one of the most fun things I have ever done. I've won a few awards, when we went to Welshpool in Wales. That was GREAT!!

I had always believed in God, I go to Mass every week (I'm a Catholic), but it was until I was about 10 or 11 years old that I actually realised how brilliant God was!! I started listening to Christian Music (Wow Hits) and I started to really believe in God, to acknowledge how amazing God's love was.
And, so I started buying more Wow Hits, that I started listening to Third Day (mostly) and everyone else... Casting Crowns/Michael W./BarlowGirl etc. ad if it wasn't for God introducing me to them... I don't know where I'd be right now... Thanks God and Third Day!! :)
You know something, we will NEVER be able to understand how much God loves us!!!

Yes, I'd say that "Hearts of the Innocent" is along the same lines as "To Know That You're Alive", with regard to the mixture of hard and more mellow music. Of course, Kutless has gone through several changes since HOTI was released so their music has evolved. Guitarist, Nick Departee is very different than Ryan Shrout in his guitar styling. He also writes his own music as well...so he is a new and creative addition to the band. They have changed producers also. (Aaron Sprinkle to Pete Kipley). So there have been several different influences on the TKTYA album. To talk to the guys in the band, they believe TKTYA is their best album yet and I have been told by one of their members that band members are more cohesive now than they have ever been in the past. I don't think you would be disappointed in owning HOTI though. Make sure to purchase the two set pack that includes this album plus the DVD of their music videos.
And yes...I do have all their work, including videos. I love it all and enjoy the differences from album to album. If you have ever gone to a Kutless concert, then chances are you have heard a variety of the old and the new. They have re-worked some of their older songs for their concerts to keep them fresh and to help create a smoother transition from the old to new songs within their set lists.
One of my favorite albums is their "Live From Portland" album which is a full length concert CD and DVD. This has music from their first self-titled album up to and including HOTI. It is like being at one of their concerts...sans the crowd pressing in on you...lol.
