9th Hour's Mission

To reach the lost with a musical message of hope in knowing Jesus Christ (Mt. 10:6)

The "lost" come in all forms. Generally speaking most people think of the rebellious aethiest that denounces God or is at least the person that is leading a totally destructive lifestyle that separates them from God. We certainly pray that those will hear the message in the music....but in Mt 10:6 Jesus commanded the disciples to "gather the lost sheep of Israel"...those that know God but have strayed. That is our target audience.

To encourage believers to be bold in sharing their faith (Mt. 10:32)

To "sing a new song, play skillfully and shout for joy" (Psalm 33:3)

Luke 23:44-46 - It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.

This is what it is all about. This is when it all happened - in the 9th Hour. Jesus accepted the punishment for all of our sins. This is when everything changed for you and me! Our Savior came at just the right time - His timing was impeccable...He had PERFECT TIMING.

On July 1, 2006, 9th Hour released their first full CD of original music, recorded at Awestruck Studios. The title of the CD is "Perfect Timing".
