Tattoos

Ok, so... my mom is going to be getting her second tattoo soon. She is still trying to figure out what she wants. The first was a purple butterfly on a blue rose that she got when she was about 25. And her guy-friend is getting one soon too... a celtic cross that he wears on his necklace. It will also be his second. His first was the celtic sign for "strength" that he got when he was 20, i think. Last night he said that i should get one with them... which i think is absolutely out-of-question because im only sixteen, but i have been intrested in tattoos. Anyway, i was just wondering how fellow Christian women veiw tattoos. And how they think God views them. Please let me know. Thanks.

my husband has 3 tattoos, one on each wrist and one on his arm, i dont have any, people have them that are in my family, not my mom and dad, but all cousins over 17. i dont think they are something i want on me, just cause its not me, i dont even have my ears pierced, cause im a big crybaby, lol, but i dont guess anything is wrong with it.
