Romans Highway is a group of five men who are focused on changing America’s thoughts about Christianity and revealing the Truth. This is a band whose main focus is to seek the face of God and worship Him through a modern blend of The Gospel and music. Seeing lives transformed, not by melodies and chord progressions, but by the Word and inspired writings that can only come from Jesus Christ.

RH has played venues that range from thirty college students in a dorm lounge with nothing but an acoustic guitar and the Holy Spirit to headlining Friday night at the Gallia County Fair to opening for national acts such as Disciple, This Fire's Embrace and Crashing Jericho. These experiences have given the group of brothers not only experience in ministry through musical performance, but the ability to personally connect to an audience.

Seth Montgomery and Ricky Jackson ministered locally with one guitar and two voices before RH had come into existence. In early 2008, Montgomery and Jackson decided to expand their ministry by adding Chris Mohr on Drums. Mohr, one of the most talented percussionists to come out of the tri-state, added a contemporary feel to this soft team. Then, Rex McKinniss and Ryan Jackson joined, bringing another change to the group.

With influences such as Leeland, David Crowder, Third Day, and MercyMe, Romans Highway offers a very original sound. Another aspect to the group that sets them apart is their ability to perform an acoustic show. With Mohr on the percussion box (cajon) and the rest unplugged, the atmosphere can instantly change from challenging and triumphant, to pure worship.

Since Romans Highway’s beginning in January of 08, they have played at over 50 venues and recorded their debut album “November”, which was released on April 4, 2009.
