There are quite a few good ones. Right out of the box I'd have to say Demon Hunter. I really like them. *grins* Then there is Inhale/Exhale. Haven't got their latest CD, but liked The Lost, the Sick and the Sacred. Don't forget As I Lay Dying or Haste the Day. So much Metal, so little time.

I am fairly new to this site, but not to guitars. However, I had dropped the guitar for about 20 years and about a year ago, I picked it back up. Minus the every day practicing, what recommendations do you have? I am doing the self-study route but I am thinking of starting back with a teacher. I am more inclined to have face-to-face instruction. Just seeing what others have as far as opinions.

I am trying a few more DVD lessons, but that is my next step. I have heard a few good things about certain Rock House Method products and seeing that they are cheaper than a teacher at this moment, I am going to give them a try. Thanks for the advice and that will be my next step....regardless.
