With all respect Holly, that is the wrong questions. It implies that God changes from person to person. Scripture makes it clear the God does not change who He is or what His purpose is. He wants us to be right with Him. This is why Christianity is not a religion, but rather a relationship. Though He can reach us and sustain us in an infinite number of ways, He is still totally in control, all powerful, all knowing, never resting in His love or care for us. I think we get fooled because of the fallen state that we live in. We make the mistake of seeing things through our perspective (I know I have at times). Grasping for God's view of things allows us to let go of our grip on life and live His intended purpose. There could be 2 questions that would better fit reality. #1 How has God worked through different circumstances to reach you? OR #2 How does God work through you to fulfill his purposes? I'm sure greater minds could come up with even better Qs, I just don't want to look at things through my sin-scarred eyes. Holy is better, don't you think?
