What did you get for Christmas?

so what was your best gifts..besides the gift of Jesus?

I got the DVD of one of the best concerts of all time..U2 at Red Rocks back in 1983. Odd Couple season 4 on DVD too. Plus CD's from Chris Tomlin, Linclon Brewster and Jeremy Camp. My kids got more webkinz and nintendo DS systems..and my wife the kitchenaid she has wanted for a long time.

dorky, but it makes me happy

plus a portable speaker thing for my mp3 player and a koool shirt

A very good Christmas for me. I got an NFL Dallas Cowboys Grill Cover, a new set of speakers for my computer (with iPOD holder), a gift card to my favorite Christian Bookstore, a book (There Are No Aetheists in Foxholes - written by a Navy Chaplain), and a box set of Billy Joel CDs. And Chocolate covered cherries in my stocking (my favorite).

The biggest hit this year was our "family" gift that we always open on Christmas Eve - Guitar Praise. I don't think it has set idle for more than 10 minutes at a time since yesterday!

An iPod Classic 120 GB!!! I needed it so bad! (My old iPod was a 20GB iPod Photo that I got three and a half years ago.) I also got a little portable speaker for it that sounds really good considering how cheap it was.

I got a couple of music related T-Shirts, an iTunes gift card, a Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar strap (I needed it, my shoulder was killing me with the little thin one I have now), a Stevie Ray Vaughan tab book, Star Wars battleship (I'm a bit of nerd when it comes to Star Wars lol) and money from my grandparents. I'm going to use the money to buy a used Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer (it's a guitar effects pedal) and a used Tascam CD guitar trainer (it slows down your CDs without changing the pitch so you can build up speed at your own pace practicing. It's also good for figuring fast parts out by ear).

I got to give back the Lord's gift of music that He has given to me back to Him for Christmas, as I spent a few hours today playing and singing to the guest of honor, JESUS CHRIST!!!

I also got headphones for my MP3 player which go right into my ears so I can hear the music really loud or a little bit lower volume.

Jesus is the best!!!!! i got a set of books from my mother in law that is by jannette oke or something like that and they are really good. i dont read much, but i read the first book in a day and a half. im excited to start the next one tonight, the series is call the prairie legacy and it has 4 books, also my mamaw got me pooh bear pjs and my sister in law , the good one, lol. and my brother , they got me winnie the pooh fuzzy posters and markers. hunny got tools and sweaters and some really cool axe stuff, he likes that. and his uncle got us chocolate. :)
also, my dad, who never gives money gave us 100 that was a first lol
