Two worship leaders advance to top 12 on Idol..and other Christians on the show!

What a shocker tonight as Michael Sarver (pictured) advances to the top 12 over Anoop. He joins the obvious choices, Danny Gokey and Alexis Grace. The great news is that my myccm friend rockit (Dion) informed me of this GREAT website dealing with all the Christians on the show this year. Michael Sarver is a worship leader like Danny. He was a gypsy as a teen and led a rough life before meeting his wife who turned him to the Lord.

There are a ton of Christians on the show in addition to the ones I have mentioned..

Matt Giraud has two Christian CD's out.

Kristen McNamara and Mishavonna Henson are also Christians.

Ricky Braddy I also found out on another site used to sing in a gospel group Step Of Faith. I hope he gets another chance in the wild card.

This is not to forget the ones I have brought up in the past like Felicia Barton (pictured with husband and fellow worship leader Loren), Kris Allen and Scott McIntyre.

This year might match season 6 (Jordin, Chris Sligh..Phil Stacey..Melinda Doolittle and others) for having believers!

I will check out that website to find out about more Christians on American Idol. I am happy that Danny made it to the top 12 and I am also happy Michael made it to the top 12 as when I read your blog I found he was a worship leader.
