Hi, I'm a songwriter, and I'd like to post up a song or two for some suggestions. But I'm worried that people might steal my songs, any suggestions on this?

1 First you can do what is called "A Poor Mans Copyright "
Put your song on anything a CD would be perfect.
Whatever you have Lyrics,Sheetmusic
Take it to the post office and tell the post man you wanna do a poor mans copyright and address the package or envelope back to yourself.
When you receive it don't open it ever, unless you think someone stole your song.
Then you can take it to court and open it front of the judge and you will have proof.

2 Go search the library of congress and go to their website and download a Pa form.
Search all the forms and see what fits you best.
Fill out the application .They will ask you on the form what song,Writers ect*******
Pay a one time small fee and send the CD to them with the filled out form and they will catalog it and keep it on file.
They will send you a copy back to you within about 6 weeks.
Hope this helps you out.
God Bless
