Do we truly want to have the ability to choose? For in 2 Peter 1:3 it is written,

"seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence."

As Christians, the promises of God, the fellowship with Jesus, the supernatural strength is at our fingertips...the question is, why do we choose not to realize this truth. Are we so ignorant or do we lack faith, or are we unwilling to take upon the responsibility of taking up our cross and following the will that God has intended for our lives?

Only because of God's loving care, patience, grace and love am I still alive. Sometimes, I have felt like Jonah, I didn't see how awesome God was and His providence. I was blinded not to know the truth. I just pray that I never become complacent, even in little things. but sometimes, it's hard to be the fish against the current. But the reward is great. Our fellowship with Jesus should surpass all other rewards and blessings. What's the point of doing chirstian acts without Christ in our hearts.

k, i have to stop talking, too much isn't always good. I hope that you can put your comments so that together we can pursue Jesus and His awesome will for all of our lives'!!!

be blessed!

I think it is because, some people don't want to accept it. I have a cousin who is atheist, who once told me he didn't like the fact of worshipping, and he dosen't believe that there is anyone higher than him. Most people are just scared and don't want to accept the fact that there is a God, and they should follow him. Most just want to live their lives the way they want to and not the way God intended for them to, so they just don't accept him. That is just what I think.

Dear Stephanie,
thank you for your response! I agree with you! The Lord is more than everything in everything that exists and is intended to be. He is our highest attainment! I just truly hope that through our earnest dedication to Jesus, that we will truly reflect and be the essence of His love to others. Do you think that solely by our image and lifestyle, people can be drawn to God's love and how do we keep showing the way and perhaps undue all of the negative actions of false religious people who just used the believers. ? Can love and His presence in us change others? :)
