Christian Industrial/Electronica is a genre that eluded me for a time. During my lost years (the time I was not walking with our Lord), I started listening to it almost exclusively. I am amazed to find that all genre’s of music are within the Christian music realm these days. *smiles* I really like my music.

Within the last year I have found (finally) 3 Christian Industrial/Electronica bands.
1. The Echoing Green
2. Joy Electric
3. Mortal

Joy Electric is taking me a while to get into (just picked up My Grandfather, the Cubist) The Echoing Green are great, and just came out with a new single called Sanctuary.
I’ve only one CD from Mortal, which is Nu En Jin, (2002) My kind of music. Wish DJ Xhan would put out something new.

Those are the ones I am aware of. Some of you have had to been in the scene longer than I. What other Christian Industrial bands are out there?

Come on, tickle my eardrums!

I couldn't tell you Brent. I don't listen to that genre of music a lot. I do have a Joy Electric song in my music library but I only listen to it some times. Sorry I couldn't help you out there.

Have you heard Andy Hunter yet? I got one of his albums just because it was on sale at a christian bookstore and I've been hooked ever since.

You also may want to listen to Family Force 5's new CD, Dance or Die. Their debut is really more Crunk rock, but DoD is more on the electronica side.

I didn't know Josh Dies had a solo project going. I like it, I'm gonna get it when it comes out on itunes.

It's not on eBay, but I found this on the myspace.

"DIES ALBUM OUT TUESDAY

at 12am (eastern) on tuesday (as in, late monday night) the Dies album "Aesthetics Of Violence" will go on sale online only.

You can use credit card or paypal to order the album for $10. We'll add a webstore link to the myspace page, you can click, fill a shopping cart and check out. this isn't a pre-prder, so your order will ship within 1-3 days of the order date.

we mentioned earlier, the number of printed copies isn't terribly large, so once they're gone, i have no idea when they'll be printed again.

i'm excited for you to hear it. thanks.

I can't believe someone else actually knows about Mortal! They've been a huge influence on my life. Their best cd imop is Fathom, I still listen to it regularly. Look up Klank, Still Suffering is prob his best, also Circle of Dust and Deitiphobia are 2 more great industrial bands. A little trivia for ya: Jerome from Mortal now plays with Switchfoot, not really my style but the man is truly gifted.

Beautiful! Thanks for the feedback. I'm not big on Switchfoot myself. I will check out Circle of Dust and Deitiphobia though.

don't forget KLANK...also theres an older compilation cd out there called ELECTRO SHOCK THERAPY, its probably the hardest Christiandustrial cd made. one more for ya, X-PROPOGATION, the cd I have is called CONFLICT, apparently theres another one by them but it seems to be elusive...hit me up and let me know if you find anyone new.
