If you read on my page, you'd see that I am a pro-life activist on my campus. What are your views on abortion of any kind?

I'm avidly pro-life. I was born to a 15 year old in 1969 and THANK GOD Roe v. Wade was not the law of the land. We have a vote on a measure that will require 48 hr. notice to parents of a pregnant teen. It amazes me how the ACLU can use a commercial of fear that abusive parents will take it out on their teen.

I also have 3 miracle daughters. After two miscarriages, the first was born at 28 weeks and is now a thriving 5 year old kindergartener. My twins were born at 23 weeks- with one doctor advocating removing life support- and are now vibrant 15 month old wonders.

The only time I advised a friend on having an abortion was when she had the baby stuck in her Fallopian tubes. Both of us cried over it in believing in life, but it would have killed her and the baby would not have survived. She later adopted when another pregnancy failed, but then had two children naturally after adopting her oldest.

I don't think abortion should ever be used as a means of covering up sin, or killing a baby when the mother's life is not at stake.

Okay, well, I have a personal testimony to share about this subject:
When I was young, I had an abortion. I've never fully recovered from it. Physically, yes. It was clean and sterile and in a hospital, but the emotional consequences were and have continued being devastating. Don't let ANYONE fool you-it is a baby, no matter whether you are 6 or 16 or 36 weeks pregnant. The very first thing that forms immediately after conception is the brain-which is one of the two most vital organs in the human body. If there is brain, there is thought; if there is thought, there is life.
Another personal testimony on the subject...this one a praise to back up the baby being a viable life form and not just a mass of tissue:
When I conceived my youngest son, three things occurred. 1. I spiritually saw a band of dna shaped light come down from heaven and enter my womb, which was accompanied by a feeling of warmth that was not there before 2. I heard the baby laughing when he entered my womb and 3. I heard the angels singing when I conceived. This was one of two of the most miraculous events in my life. That son is now 23. His name is Joshua David. He has a sister- my baby girl, Sasha, who is now 22. They were both divine gifts to me, as is each and every baby.
So don't let anyone fool you. If you're pregnant, it's a baby, not a choice.

God bless you, my sister. I thank God that He is the God of a second chance!!!

WOW-sorry it took me so long to reply, but I just now checked my discussions after all this time.
I am in total agreement with you: ONLY under life or death circumstances, period! My daughter, who is now 22, is under the impression that it's okay if you are raped. To that I remind her that my mother got pregnant with me when she was raped; then I asked her if she wishes I hadn't been born. hmm...I think that gave her cause to pause.

I'm definitely pro-life. Abortion is murder, taking away a human life. I'm also very thankful my mom feels the same way, because my father wanted her to abort me.
She came close to getting me aborted... She was actually in the office getting ready to when she changed her mind and left.
So, here I am today. =]

I am strictly pro-life. It is murder to take a life when a human is out of the womb. The same shall apply for the unborn. It is as if when you kill this child you are offended. Offense leads to betrayal and betrayal, to bitterness and bitterness to hatred. So what is next....Murder. God says the heart is decietful. No man can know it.
