I love Michael W Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman. Both of these artists have been around in Christian Music for a long time but still they keep making great music. I have been a huge Smitty fan since the beginning but SCC had released a couple of albums before I ever heard his music. The fact that he's directly indirectly responsible for my flying to China to adopt a baby girl also puts him high on my list of favorite artists.

my pastor and smitty grew up together and went to the same highschool in kenova west va. and are great friends. he is a great guy and hard worker for the lord and makes wonderfull tunes. funny when you enter kenova west va on the highway from hunnington it says home of micheal w smith and john b. lowe III ( our pastor) and then it lists all the state football championships our pastor was the footaball star before he recieved the call of god on his life. i just wish smitty had more time to hang out when he blows thru indiana on tour so he could jam a bit more..
